New Range of Cleveland For 2009/10 (2)
Launcher DST Fairway Wood - powerful ball flight and outstanding forgiveness
The new Cleveland Launcher DST fairway woods are the perfect complement to the new DST driver as they have been designed to offer a powerful ball flight and outstanding forgiveness.
A large face provides forgiveness from both heel and toe miss hits, producing more consistent results, even on those less than perfect strikes. The Launcher DST fairway has also been designed for exceptional stability so that miss hits perform nearly as well as perfect strikes.
The Launcher DST fairway is available in three distinct 3-wood lofts; low (13), standard (15) and high (17) trajectory options, allowing players to select the best loft to maximise distance and accuracy for their unique swing speed and launch conditions.
Beyond the head design, the longer, lighter high performance Mitsubishi Diamana shafts lead to higher swing speeds and additional distance.
The Launcher DST fairway is available from December 1st, 2009 with an RRP of 129.00
Launcher DST Hybrid - maximum forgiveness
The new Cleveland Launcher DST Hybrid is designed for maximum forgiveness and ease of use.
A large face design provides forgiveness from both heel and toe miss hits, producing more consistent results so that bad shots aren't quite so bad.
A unique dual rail sole design makes the Launcher DST hybrid extremely stable. It reduces turf drag improving the club's connection with the ball so that ball striking is easier from all lies conditions.
The Launcher DST hybrid is fitted with a high performance Mitsubishi Diamana shaft. This longer, lighter shaft encourages a higher swing speed and additional distance.
The Launcher DST Hybrid is available from December 1st 2009 with an RRP of 119.00 (graphite); 99.00 (steel).
CG7 & CG7 Tour Black Pearl Irons - the ultimate in precision shot-making
The new CG7 and CG7 Tour Black Pearl irons are the most advanced irons Cleveland Golf has ever made, offering improved feel, distance and forgiveness.
The key innovative features of the CG7 and CG7 Tour Black Pearl irons are the Laser milled face and Zip grooves, which have been designed to conform to the new R&A and USGA regulations on grooves that come into force in 2010. The laser milling increases the roughness of the clubface, which along with the advanced Zip grooves helps maximise spin and control on shots.
The CG7 and CG7 Tour Black Pearl offer fantastic feel and response thanks to 360 Gelback Technology; a one piece injection-molded, lightweight insert providing vibration dampening across the entire face.
Superior distance is the result of Dynamic Micro-Cavity Technology (MCT), which incorporates progressively sized micro-cavities for optimised CG location in each head.
The unique dark Black Pearl finish is designed to reduce glare.
The CG7 and CG7 Tour Black Pearl irons will begin shipping on November 1st, 2009.
