After trying many fairway woods this was the only club I could consistantly hit straight down the fairway. I am new to golf and a 23 hanicap and I struggled with hitting from the fairway untill this club.

I love the FCT it is a great club that hits the ball where you want it to go! i decided to buy it cause i like taylormade it is the best golf company out there. A must have for a true golfer.

it sounds like the TaylorMade R9 Fairway Wood is my club. I have only been golfing for 2 years now and I can use all the help I can get. I have a 3, 4, and 5 in the hybird and I honestly say that I would have given up the game of golf if it were not for those clubs. They always go long and staraight so I guess I want to give this fairway wood a chance to go into my bag.

The TaylorMade R9 TP Fairway Wood is the first fairway wood to feature Flight Control Technology (FCT) that allows the golfer to change the face angle, loft and lie of the club in eight different changes. While the tweaking of clubs is commonplace on the Tour the R9 TP offers the ordinary golfer the same control over their clubs as a professional player using a simple bolt in the clubhead that can be changed in seconds.
